Feeling totally overwhelmed today. It's 4am and I can't sleep. I have a to-do-list that could shadow the Dec of Independance. I think I'd better unsub/no mail a few groups etc today before I commit harikari. WL is going super. 171 this am. Would like to reach 169 before end of August, which will a decrease in my BMI to 30. Takes me out of the obese category. I hate that word. Even saying the word is disgusting! 171/200/120

Friday Fun

1. What are you most fortunate for, right now at this stage in your life? My children. They are everything to me!
2. What do you wish you were fortunate enough to have? Is it attainable? Really I don't need anything. I have a pretty nice life, family, etc. I am so lucky to have what I do have.
3. Name one thing about each person in your immediate family that makes you feel fortunate to have them in your life.

Ron-He is the hardest working person I know. He would always take care of us/provide for us no matter what.

Molly-She reminds me what it is like to to be a teenager again, and why I am glad that I am not.

Erin-She has such passion for things in life. She is so carefree and keeps me grounded.

Jax-He is the sunshine in all our lives, and is a living example of why adoption is so special.

Good questions Kiki, thanks for reminding me why I love my family soooo much!

I weighed in at 172# this am! Yay! I am slightly off of my goal date track, but am still booking along at 10#/mo. I am quite happy with that! I have been running around like a chicken...well, you know. Hoping to catch up my to-do-list this weekend. Mol has a friend over for the week who's parents are out of town, so needless to say it is pure unadulterated chaos on the homefront!

WL has slowed to a crawl but not giving up, I feel more motivated that ever! Need to increase my Phen dose again, and get active again. I think I can still make the 170# for the 22nd, if I get moving. State Fair this week, so it has been nuts! I am getting overwhelmed again, esp with some of my online commitments, may need to cut back. Once school starts the 1st of September, things should calm a bit. I am wearing my  size 16 Wranglers again, which is a good feeling. They aren't even all that tight! I bought a pair of Tommy H size 12 as a motivator. They look so comfy, I can hardly wait until they fit! Still have a long way to go on the WL, but my energy is high. I think I am keeping the Slim Fast people in business.

1. As the summer draws to an end (or the current season where you are!!), what fun things do you want to get in before it is too late? Enjoying the warm summer evenings outside.
2. What is the most fun about the upcoming season for you? Kids go back to school, lol, doin' the happy dance!
3. What have you done this week that was fun? This is State Fair week, so we go to most of the rodeos, pig wrestling, demolition derby, etc. Tons o' fun!

Happy with my loss, may seem slow, but headed in the right direction for the first time in years. I am off track for Christmas day, not sure if I can catch up. 'To-Do' chores are like red apples. You have to take care of them soon, or they get smelly. The bad part is that even if they are smelly you still have to take care of them. Don't let them go too long or you will regret it! I have a couple of really smelly apples I have to take care of today. I hate being such a procrastinator, but can't seem to change. I do try though, I really do! 1/2 dose Phen today, I got no sleep last night. I can't wait until I reach my goal and I can decrease to low dose. The sideeffects stink, but it works.

We're Back!

Back from vacation on Monday, phew! Has taken til today (Friday) to get my poop grouped. Not a very relaxing trip with 3 teenagers and a toddler, but the kids enjoyed it. That is really what counts. Gained 4#, but am back to 175.5# today and AF here. So things looking good that way. Likely won't make my 170# goal by Monday, but will be close. Hate to get off track too far, as I really like the Christmas deadline idea. 160# is a huge (mini) goal weight for me 'cause I was there 4 or so years ago. I am gonna celebrate at 106#, just need to decide what my prize will be! Crazy weekend coming up, lots to do. Better stock up on SF bars, apples, and diet sprite today.

Off to Yellowstone

Hello girlies!

Lilly and I are off to Yellowstone this weekend. Actually we are leaving in the am on Thurs. Will stay on diet plan as much as possible, but will have to eat some real food (other than Slim Fast bars), so I expect a small amount of gain. Likely won't weigh-in this Mon as will be bad news! Hope to have lots of pics when I get back, Paula

Short term goal met

Made short term goal of 177.5# (177# actually!) for my Monday weigh-in. Yay! I updated my stats/goals chart extending it out to 120#. My goal weight (if I stay on track) will be on Dec 26. Christmas! What a Christmas present! A new me! If I never had another present again, that would be enough. So, I guess I am giving me, 'me' this Christmas! LOL! Gotta' go blog hoppin', Paula

Phen disaster!

Had a disaster with the Phentermine. Didn't sleep but an hour a night for 4 nights. Didn't take it today hoping I could catch a few hours. Got a nap today, but feel like caca. I think I will go back to 37.5 until I am totally ravenous. I gotta sleep at night. Now I see why speed freaks go in 3-4 day bursts and then crash. Yikes! Not for me. Lost a pound, not sure it was worth it.

Made my short term goal!

I made my shorterm goal! I have lost 20# total (60# to go, ugh!) I am 1/5 of the way to my ideal weight, and boy does it feel good.
